Chemico supply a series of FlocSocks for use on earthwork and construction sites to be used in conjunction with other sediment control methodologies.

These are typically for small water flows. A good example is when the rain has finished and dirty water is still flowing into the sediment retention pond.

Either flocculants or coagulants can be tailored specifically to soil types however dose rates can not be adjusted.

As water passes through the sock the flocculants are released into the sediment laden water resulting in the clumping and dropping out of fine particles and significantly improved water clarity.
